SELENA - MAID OF HONOUR & M.C.
Selena is the friend I've had the longest, with us having met in grade 6. We couldn't have appeared more different on the outside - I was deep in my 'it's-not-a-phase'-emo-phase, while she kept up with all the latest trends. While we may still be the opposite in many ways, it has always been who we are at our core that has connected us. Selena is the epitome of "if it's what you want, I will support you", and I am so grateful for the ways she's supported me over all these years. Selena is brilliant, witty, and continues to narrate life through the finest 2010s Tumblr and Vine memes.
MEGAN
Megan and I became friends in middle school after bonding over our shared taste in music and goofy sense of humour. Learning that we lived in neighbouring apartment buildings basically sealed the deal, and we would be attached at the hip from then on, for as long as we lived in the same city. Megan has stuck by me through thick and thin, having seen me at my highest and lowest points, and while the whirlwind of adulthood does what it does, she is an incredibly loyal friend whom I'm so grateful to have shared many of the most important years of my life alongside.
BREE
Bree and I met when we became roommates pre-pandemic while living in Victoria, and we were fast friends. In the time that I've known Bree, she has lived many lives - student, ski bum, park ranger, traveller, West Coast Trail hiker- and has the stories to boot! Bree is a girl's girl - she's deeply empathetic, caring, and values having a community of strong and inspired women around her. Her down to earth goofiness and authenticity is contagious. Once you meet her, you'll know what I mean. I feel so lucky to have a friend like Bree.
ALLISON
Last but not least is Allison, my soon to be sister-in-law, though she's felt like a sister to me since I started living with Dominic's family. Allison always has the best advice you never knew you needed, whether it's about interior decorating, skincare tips, how to remember whether you've taken your medication, where to get the best deal on something, or how to restore vintage apothecary cabinets (in case you ever find yourself in that situation...). Allison is generous, caring, empathetic, and encouraging, and has a special way of making sure everyone around her feels equal and included.
ALEX - BEST MAN
A pillar. Few words but unwavering integrity.
His elusive sense of humor is always welcomed if you're lucky enough to get him started. He is also secretly a genius and can engineer you something that will solve all your problems. It's truly an honour to have him as a brother and friend, and I cherish every moment I have with him.
JUSTIN
Bob the Builder meets Spongebob meets Sasquach.
Can he build it? Yes he can ... depending on the weather, and of course your permits. And if by build you mean design it in CAD. An avid meme connoisseur, with deep knowledge of the nichest Shrek edits. A living juxtoposition between burly outdoorsmen and sweaty video gamer. Whatever we do together, even if we're getting lost in the desert, virtually or in reality, we're always laughing.
MARCHELLO
A shark, with a soft underbelly.
Look at this trustworthy guy in his suit, is he too smug? Nah! He's the next Buffett in the making, but don't mention anything about the markets, because he won't stop talking for hours about XEQT #NotFinancialAdvice. It's hard to believe we met detailing cars together. He is one of the most genuine souls on the planet, and always makes time for the most important people in his life, and I am lucky enough to be one of them.
SIMON - M.C.
Music wizard: terrestrial and otherworldly.
A man with a musical bloodline and robotic rigour who uses his talents to arrange both Inspector Gadget and Bach melodies. Stop waiting around and go listen to Simon Farintosh on Spotify. A legitimate professor, questionable chef, and hiking companion, who guided me through my undergrad as we bounced our way along. Not only can he lift weights, but also the spirits of everyone around.

RIAN - VENUE HOST
Rian has played many parts in my (Morgan's) life during the almost 25 years we've known each other, but having mom become one of those parts is something I treasure. The roots that Rian planted on Vancouver Island in 2015 quickly became my roots, too, and it became the place I would build my life and eventually meet Dominic.
Dominic and I are so grateful to her and to the rest of my family, not just for their willingness to host our wedding, but for how excited they’ve been to be part of it and for everything they have done to help make our celebration unforgettable.
LUIS - OFFICIANT
Literally the reason I (Dominic) am the person that I am today.
If I had to call someone to bail me out of jail, it would be him. Not because he would probably post bail, but because he can empathize with anything and help anyone turn failures into new-found stengths. As I walk through life, he has guided me every step of the way, for which I am forever grateful. He is a self-made immigrant who has built a family that blossoms to this day, and I would want no one else to oversee the beginning of our new little branch.
ISAIAH - RING BEARER
Master builder.
Will happily explain how a modern transmission works in excessive detail, and can easily build one out of Lego. Has a star-like attitude which can capture the room, and crack everyone up by finding the funniest things to say with his often all-too-true perspectives. A creative force this world is not prepared for.
SELENA - FLOWER GIRL
Party Intern.
Daughter of Bruno and Claudia, Selena is the first, of hopefully many, kids within our friend group. She will lead the next generation, playing the role of big sister to all. If she turns out anything like her parents, she will be an absolute joy to be around, potentially a gamer gal, or crafting kiddo.
